Baroda has now got new Mayor in form of Jyotiben Pandya and Deputy Mayor in name of Arvind Patel.
Ending days of suspense after the recent civic polls, Jyoti Pandya has been elected the new city mayor. Pandya is the twenty-fourth mayor of the city while Arvind Patel has been elected as the deputy mayor and the name of veteran Shabdasharan Brahmbhatt has been announced by the BJP for the post of standing committee chairman of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).
