I am really impressed by the design and structure of your Forum.

Apart from Baroda, I would also suggest you start such a forum for all major cities of Gujarat viz. Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Bhuj.

Thanks very much for your suggestion about Baroda Talk.

Yes, i thought about it before. But Baroda being my home town i have atleast started with a forum dedicated to Barodians.

Lets see how successful Baroda Talk goes. It all depends on its success too. But looking at the amount of traffic i receive on a day to day basis it looks people are really interested in posts that are posted on the Baroda Talk Forum.

I am sure it will soon hit the heads.

This is really a great initiative..
but still i think ppl over here need to do more publicity of this website and forum to bring more people to join us... once we will have a great numbers activities will anyway take place regularly.

I will like if you create another category for Baroda Gallary, where ppl can put up the snaps and wallpapers of various places of city, that will make the forum more useful.

But still this is really a great effort, and I quite appreciate it....

Hi Nirman,

Yes, I am trying my best to publicize this website as much as i can.

I myself is not in Baroda at the moment so only trying to popularize this through internet. Website gets good amount of clicks. There were 47 Users online at one time today. So, i feel people do visit it for getting information. It will take time but i am sure it will soon hit the minds of people and share their wants online. And moreover, its all free. No fees too for putting up your advertisements on the forum at the moment.

Yes, in few months time i may try to integrate flickr photos with our forum so that users can post Baroda pictures on our forum.

Like the community of "Latest happenings in Baroda" of Orkut, you can also add one more category in this forum say "Baroda Happenings" where we can post similar details .. or else pls suggest if such info can be put in General Discussions...

but i think new category will be better to avoid mix up of contents.

I have created a "Baroda Happenings" sub-category under "Baroda Community" main category. We will be postings the latest happenings in and around the Baroda City in there.
