I think most of you are aware of this exclusive report which makes us visualize what will be vadodara few years down the line.. An interesting and in-depth report. Worth to take a look.

Hi Nirman,

That is indeed indepth report on Baroda by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). Thanks for posting it on the Forum and sharing the knowledge.

And in my view the vision to develop Baroda as a Hub of Knowledge based Economy in Western India is truly valid due to presence of highly educated people in the city, booming industries like petrochemicals, IT and various others. And also, Baroda being a Cultural Hub too, it has an added advantage. And offcourse, its geographical location (being in central life from Mumbai - Ahmedabad) plays a major role in such a thing. So, this is the reason why so many Legends come out of Baroda City in various sectors.  Smiley

One of the Projects that i heard about was "Vishwamitri River Project" where it was planned to develop a harbour like structure around the River area. In my view if that happens, many small and big businesses will have advantage of it. Even people can come and relax along the riverside in evening time. Hope that happens soon Smiley
